KNZ Design & Marketing has done nothing but amazing work! During a winter photoshoot she was beyond creative and one of the best photographers I have ever worked with! The end product was unbelievable. The social media advice has helped me grow my personal impact as well as the impact of the business's I work with!
KARYN FORBES | Hayden, CO | My Photoshoot
While interning at the CNFR: College National Finals Rodeo this past June, intern Hannah Wagner and I were responsible for getting headshots of contestants who missed the original shoot with ESPN.
Hannah took all the headshots and I edited them and sent them back to ESPN. While sorting through the photos, I decided to play around and edit a few of the "mistakes". This photo of bull rider, Clayton Sellars, turned out pretty cool and I sent it to him to publish on his social media.
A couple months later, Florida Country Magazine was doing an article on the recent PRCA Resistol Rookie Bull Rider of the Year and asked for permission to use our photo. Hannah and I are very ecstatic! Oh and a huge congrats to Clayton Sellars Professional Bull Rider!
So here it is:

I absolutely love this munchkin and his mama! One of my best friends took these photos of Dustin and didn't have enough time to get them edited so she sent them to me. How cute is he?!

With the wind and snow and darkness closing in, I still managed to get a few photos of my niece's Homecoming group. Hope you had fun Class of 2020!

Normally, I only post photos on this blog, however, I had to share my latest craft project.
Meet Martha. I chose this because of the scribbled name on the bottom of the desk, written by (I can only assume) a past owner.
Martha is my vanity desk that I picked up at a garage sale back in the Summer of 2015. I used this vanity as my makeup/hair desk for the past three years and this summer, I decided she needed to be refurbished. A little bit of love and Martha would look good as new.
It took a little bit longer than I planned for, as my original idea ended up getting scrapped and my plans for Martha changed daily.
IDEA 1: Paint the entire desk turquoise and then antique it.
IDEA 2: Paint drawers red with chalk paint.
Idea 1 & 2 failed. The turquoise chalk paint ended up mint green... gross and the antiquing process made the desk look dirty and coffee stained. The red drawers were too dark and didn't match well with the mint green body.
IDEA 3: Re-paint entire desk with Valspar latex turquoise paint that more resembled the color I originally intended to get.
IDEA 4: Use idea 3 but re-paint drawers to a bright orange with Valspar latex paint.
IDEA 5: Paint the flip cover orange on the inside.
IDEA 6: Add a cute design element, like a bison!
And the result....
